Frequently Asked Questions
Several higher education facilities now offer Continuing Education
Units (CEUs). CEUs are a national measure of completion of non-credit
professional development learning activities by an approved provider.
Who can earn CEUs? How?
Anyone taking a course at getskilled.com
can get CEUs from a partnering college or university. Students must send
the relevant documentation and payment to the accrediting institution and
will receive a certificate granting CEUs within a few weeks of receiving
the request.
How are CEUs granted?
Typically, CEUs will be granted by the accrediting institution if the
following items are sent to the college or university: score sheet showing
a mastery score on each unit; student's name, address, phone number,
social security number, and credit card information or money order; a
completed course evaluation; and a statement certifying that the person
requesting the CEUs is the person who took the test.
How much are students charged?
A minimal fee (determined by each partnering college or university) is
charged for each course completed for CEU credit.
What organizations currently offer CEUs for MindLeaders courses at getskilled.com?
Currently, Ohio University and Otterbein College offer CEUs for our
courses. Other organizations will be offering CEUs for courses in the near
future.
