Continuing Education Units
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are a nationally recognized measure
of participation and completion of non-credit professional development
learning activities sponsored by an approved and recognized provider.
CEUs can be used to:
- Provide employers with a history of an employee's professional
development activities
- Apply for re-licensure or re-certification as defined by state
agencies or professional organizations
- Provide a basis for an employee's eligibility for a salary
increase or promotion
- Provide a record for Lifelong Learning Tax Credits

- CEUs are currently offered by Ohio University and Otterbein College
and are $15/course
- CEUs are earned at .1 unit per hour of course
- Applications are sent directly to the college, not getskilled.com
